It Started With My Own Personal Love Level Up
Imagine me twenty-something, divorced with a baby on each hip; far from the fairytale I grew up dreaming. I dated desperately for a decade-ish. I was frustrated, hopeless and truthfully quite lonely. I couldn't figure out why dates always ended up the same: ghosted and gone or belonging amongst the chapters of the terrible dates book I've still yet to write.

There had to be more.
I had the career, a good life and yet it seemed as if love was eluding me leaving me doubtful it would ever really happen for me.
It wasn’t until my mom passed away that everything changed. I felt lost as if I didn’t know who I was without her. For the first time in a long time, I went from trying to find love to trying to find me.
During that time I changed some of my ways (thank you dear Lord, baby Jesus!) and with a new understanding of just how precious life is, I wanted to use every minute I was given to live the best life I possibly could even if I never had any more than I had right then and there. Thankfully, hope and faith reminded me so much more was possible.

I did my inner work and shifted my beliefs to believe better about love, men and me. By getting into a new relationship with me and love, I realized my first love was me all along. Falling in love with me allowed the love of my life to walk in and we are currently living out our very own happily ever after.
